Our Vision

Mission Education is a 501c3 non-profit charity created to positively impact the lives of people in Kenya. Mission Education helps children in abject poverty whose families cannot afford to send them to school. Through the generosity of sponsors, these children are given the opportunity to attend school and achieve their dreams—“Educating Children One by One.” Mission Education's professional social worker identifies children who exhibit great learning potential but whose family financial circumstances make schooling unrealistic. The social worker also plays a vital support role by guiding these families to local resources.

Fridah Inoti, Mission Education Social Worker

Fridah InotiGrowing up knowing what it means to lack is not the easiest of things. Most of Fridah's siblings were not lucky enough to get access to education because their parents could not afford to educate them. Being the youngest in a family of nine, Fridah was fortunate to have her education sponsored.  This has greatly impacted the person she is now and provided motivation for her Mission Education efforts.

Fridah is a professional social worker who started her career at an outreach program caring for HIV positive children. The plight of the children, especially those who could not afford education, motivated her to work at a school to gain a better understanding of the schooling system. In 2011, Fridah began working at Bridge International Academies-Kenya. As an academy administrator, she observed the social dynamics of the students and their parents. In 2013, Fridah was inspired to work with children full time and became the social worker at The Lord’s House of Hope orphanage. At TLHOH, Fridah oversees the admissions process in addition to providing emotional support to the children

Fridah recognizes education is the backbone of a successful life. It’s heartbreaking to see so many children unable to attend school because their parents, just like Fridah’s parents, cannot afford it. This is Fridah’s driving force to help children access quality education and enjoy successful lives.

Fridah is passionate about reaching out to the needy in her community and sharing her knowledge. In her free time, she loves reading motivational books and hiking.

Tim Majewski, Mission Education Executive Director

majewski family“Once a teacher, Always a teacher.”

Tim began his professional life as a middle and high school business teacher in the Green Bay Public Schools.  He continues to hold a WI Professional Educator license.  In 1999, while still teaching, he began Financial Planning at a local tax and accounting firm, Tax Management Services.  After refocusing on classroom teaching for a number of years, Tim returned to Financial Planning full time in 2006.

Over time, Tim felt a calling to tie is mission interests with his career.  In 2012, partnering with his wife, Lynn, they founded Mission Financial & Insurance, a holistic practice providing Financial Planning, Health & Life Insurance, and related services.  Soon after, Tim and Lynn learned of an orphanage about to open its doors in Nairobi, Kenya, The Lord’s House of Hope (TLHOH).  They quickly became involved in TLHOH and continue to be a sponsor and supporter.  As TLHOH neared full capacity, Tim and his family were inspired to reach more needy children in Kenya; and Mission Education was born!

Tim continues a path of educating…with his office with his Financial Planning clients, in corporate America where he teaches Financial Wellness to groups of employees, at his church where he facilitates “Financial Peace University” courses, in the computer lab at The Lord’s House of Hope orphanage where he introduces internet basics, and at Riverside School in Waithaka where he aims to inspire Kenyan’s to dream big and be all God made them to be.
